But I think it's just so well crafted that it appears that way! It looks stock when matching the carpet color. It's a good box overall! You do have to remove the seat bar but the box itself fills the void nice enough that you won't notice any difference.

So early, I had my box for about 3 days before I got a tracking confirmation that they sent it out,haha. My box did come in with some damage on the carpet, they said they'd send out another if I wanted to go through the claim process but I just wanted to get it in there. I called and talked to Jeff and told him I was going to put 2 JL10Tw's and he cut them out to fit. Speakers fit with very little room, but that was expected. I also put the JL grills on to protect them. The seats pretty hard to close with this box. You kinda have to shimmy it around and press on the seats very firmly and try to find the right spot. That's really my only con to it. Wish this seats were easier to close, but it's cool.
